About this journal

A cleaner overview of the journal, its focus, and the work it publishes.

The Ghana Supreme Court Review (SCR) is a peer-reviewed academic law journal published by the University of Ghana School of Law. The journal provides critical analysis of the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court of Ghana and its impact on the development of concepts and principles of constitutionalism, legal doctrine, rule of law, legality, public policy, and others. Through scholarly articles, case analyses, case notes and doctrinal reviews, the Review seeks to foster rigorous engagement with landmark decisions of the Court and their broader implications for Ghanaian law and comparative constitutional practice. The journal serves as a platform for academics, legal practitioners, judges, and policy actors interested in advancing scholarly debate on constitutional adjudication and the evolving role of the judiciary in Ghana.
